Director of Research & Data Management

Becca Huntting

In her role as the Director of Research & Data Management, Becca is focused on using data to strengthen experiences, drive decisions, and illustrate outcomes of apprentices, employers, and education partners.

Prior to joining CareerWise New York, Becca served in various program management and research roles in higher education, non-profits, and faith-based organizations. She most recently served as the Assistant Director of Leadership & Innovation at NYU Steinhardt where she was responsible for building and scaling graduate degree programs, community engagement projects, and leadership development opportunities in New York City and at NYU’s global sites.

Becca‘s research has been focused on youth apprenticeship models in the US and abroad. She contributed to the book “Working to Learn: Disrupting the Divide Between College and Career Pathways for Young People” by Noel S. Anderson and Lisette Nieves, an international study of promising models and policy considerations to improve work and learning outcomes for young people, and has presented on work-based learning research in the UK and Belgium. Becca earned her EdD at NYU Steinhardt in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies. Her research explored the experiences and intersectional identities of young women in modern youth apprenticeship models, distilling key services and supports provided by intermediary nonprofits that expand career and postsecondary pathways.
