Administrative Assistant

Iris Chenet

Iris Chenet is the Administrative Assistant on the CareerWise New York Team. Her role includes participating in all administrative aspects of the organization whether that be coordinating meetings, answering calls and emails, or handling miscellaneous tasks. Iris completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Marymount Manhattan College along with a minor in History.

Prior to her role at CareerWise New York, Iris took part in many on-campus organizations. She served on the board of the BedfordHill club, a group of students working on prison reform and education for incarcerated women. She also participated as a senator for the senior class in the student government association and was chosen as one of the 5 seniors responsible for organizing senior activities leading to graduation. This along with her role as the president and chapter founder of the National Society for Leadership and Success at her campus.

Following her senior research paper on “The Education sector in Haiti: Efforts of Reform and Reality of Failure” Iris hopes to continue her work or studies in the pursuit of challenging education practices worldwide.
