Invest in Your Future

Begin Exploring Opportunities Today

We are excited about your interest in modern youth apprenticeship and the CareerWise New York team is here to support you every step of the way! Before you apply there are few things you should know.

WHAT IS THE APPRENTICESHIP PORTAL?

The Apprenticeship Portal is the platform you will use to explore and apply for apprenticeships. It’s similar to a job board, except this one is just for CareerWise New York apprenticeships. The Apprenticeship Portal is where you will create your student profile, review opportunities, and apply to available positions. You’ll want to take your time in creating your student profile, as interested employers will review these closely!

WHEN CAN I APPLY?

On March 11th you will be able to access the Portal via the CareerWise website. After you’ve set up your student profile, you can begin to explore open apprenticeship opportunities.

HOW DO I PREPARE?

Prior to applying to any available apprenticeship, you can visit the Before you Apply page for information about eligibility, pathway exploration, and resources to help you build your best resume and cover letter.

Not sure what opportunities are right for your career pathway and goals? Click the button below to complete a survey and receive information about potential apprenticeships that fit your interests.

A unique experience for any student

I’m getting paid for it...and I’m able to get college credit for it. I don’t know why anyone would pass this up.
