Paraprofessional to teacher apprentices support the lead classroom teacher in running classroom activities. They will develop positive relationships with students, run small group activities, aid students with disabilities, support with discipline issues, and engage in school wide activities. They may also support the lead teacher with lesson planning and grading. By the end of the apprenticeship, paraprofessional to teacher apprentices will have developed the skills they need to effectively run their own classroom after the completion of their bachelor's degree.
