Senior Director of Research & Data Management

Becca Huntting

In her role as the Senior Director of Research & Data Management, Becca is focused on using data to strengthen experiences, drive decisions, and illustrate outcomes of apprentices, employers, and education partners.

Prior to joining CareerWise New York, Becca served in various roles in higher education, non-profits, and faith-based organizations. She most recently served as the Assistant Director of Leadership & Innovation at NYU Steinhardt where she was responsible for building and scaling graduate degree programs, social impact projects, and leadership development opportunities in New York City and at NYU’s global sites.

Becca‘s research has been focused on youth apprenticeship models in the US and abroad. She contributed to the book Working to Learn: Disrupting the Divide Between College and Career Pathways for Young People (2020) by Noel S. Anderson and Lisette Nieves and co-authored the book Working for a Future: Equity and Access in Work-Based Learning for Young People (2024) with Nieves and Anderson. Both texts present international studies of promising models and policy considerations to improve work and learning outcomes for young people.

Becca earned her EdD at NYU Steinhardt in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies. Her research explored the experiences and intersectional identities of young women in modern youth apprenticeship models, and the role intermediary nonprofits can play to expand career and postsecondary pathways.
