Marie Adolphe is the chief program officer at Careerwise New York City. She brings over 30 years of experience helping individuals discover and navigate their career paths to the role. For the past 15 years, Marie has designed and launched high-quality, effective, and outcome-driven programs that prepare and support students’ transition from school to the workplace.
Marie creates opportunities for employers to build relationships with students and educators. She fosters strategic collaborations to develop industry-relevant curricula and research and provide underrepresented, and historically marginalized students the knowledge, confidence, and social capital they need to access rewarding and sustaining careers.
She served as senior vice president of program development at the nonprofit Marketing EDGE, where she oversaw the creation of programs and events aimed at preparing undergraduates for careers and supporting marketing academia. Prior to joining Marketing EDGE, Marie served as director of human resources at the corporate office of Bookspan, where she provided direction and support on a wide array of issues including talent acquisition and retention, management development and employee relations. Marie is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional and serves on the board of the Nonprofit Alliance, an organization that works to promote, protect, and strengthen the nonprofit sector.
Marie received her EdD from Northeastern University, her MBA from Pace University, and her B.S. and B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
