In the role of Senior Case Manager, Apprentice Experience, Melissa works on the Employer Partnerships Team to promote program advancement and positive experiences for the apprentices. She provides support in socio-emotional growth, career progression, and competency progression in order for apprentices to be empowered and successful throughout the program.

During her previous role as a Director of Teen Programs, Melissa was responsible for implementing programs, policies, and support with consideration of the importance of youth development. Melissa has previous experience working as a youth development professional, therapist, care coordinator/case manager, and social worker with different agencies and programs throughout NYC and South Carolina. Melissa has worked with various populations but has always had a passion working with adolescents and teens. Throughout her social work career, Melissa has prioritized advocating for individuals and groups while addressing their specific needs with empathy.

Melissa is a NY LMSW and received her MSW from New York University
